The sculpture Et Purus No 2 was unveiled in September 2024 on the Royal Djurgården island in central Stockholm. It is funded by Fabege AB – one of Stockholm most well reputated public real estate companies. Fabege joined the ambition to fight doping within society and sports in June 2016. Fabege have a high profile in terms of sustainable development, wellness, and health responsibilities. As a city developer, property owner, and host for tenants, their staff, and visitors, Fabege is broadening its vision by stepping up in the fight against doping as a public health issue. By actively participating in the creation of the new site on Royal Djurgården, the company is taking valuable efforts in the providing of a new room for contemplation, beauty and peace.
The first Et Purus monument was erected in December 2021 on the pier Jetée Lucciana in the entrance of the famous Port Hercule in Principality of Monaco. The ceremony was generously hosted by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, who also unveiled the monument. It was Professor Ljungqvist's wish that the first monument was placed in Monaco. The reason is that he initiated his international anti-doping mission working with World Athletcs (former International Athletics Associations Federation – IAAF) during the 1970-ies and some years later Monaco became the "home town" for the world of athletics by establishing a new headquarters for the federation.
